The Festival of Terpsichore produced its first event for scholarships to the above dancers in an extended professional training program during the summer of 2004. The festival also donated money to the Columbia City Dance Dept. under the Melanie Delores College Scholarship Fund.


The festival with its magnificent three day event and performances by pre-professionals, young professionals and professionals such as Columbia City Ballet, Charleston Ballet and the African American Dance Ensemble raised and donated money to the CJD Foundation.

2005 Terpsichore II
The second year of this regional dance event was a summer-long festival entitled "A Day at the Beach." It featured the Red Hot Art Exchange Band, the Terpsichore Dancers, and original works local artists. Six programs were held - free and open to the public.
